We have been experimenting with online and interactive media since 1995. Our critically acclaimed project, VD 2001 about vampires in cyberspace, is probably the first dramatic series to appear on the World Wide Web. You can still view this historic site at http://www.vd2001.com.
Currently we have two ongoing viral projects and would be happy to consult with you about getting your project started in this exciting media frontier.
Evil Auntie’s Quick & Sexy Family Cooking
Popular webisode series ‘Evil Auntie,’ the viral cooking show featuring the eccentric eponymous character’s seasonal recipes can be viewed at www.evilauntie.net Evil Auntie employs an eccentric spin on the Julia Child-style direct address cooking show, with the character cooking up such confections as ‘Aphrodisiac Chicken,’ ‘Christmas Viking Wassail,’ and ‘Titty Turkey.’ The show received an Honorable Mention from the 2009 Webby Awards and won a Silver W3 Award that same year. Several episodes have appeared at international film festivals and on I2TV broadcast channels.
In addition to the comedy cooking show, Evil Auntie produces a periodic blog replete with food facts and kitchen lore. You can also catch Evil Auntie appearing on her popular Facebook page.
Anarchist
What would you do if four years of your life were erased from your memory and your old friends are now your bitter enemies?
Originally conceived as a screenplay which won several awards then revisited as a graphic novel for the Internet, “Anarchist” now appears as a twice daily Twitter blog + image @lesliestreit. Follow the adventures of political activist, Emil Janek into the dystopian near future of 2024. Here a former science nerd has become a powerful corporate czar and everyone else has been herded into Box City which occupies a few square blocks in the now deserted city of L.A. Who knows where the Anarchist will turn up next?
